Recently My hairdresser's son ..well i guess i'd call her more like a friend since i've known her forever.. got married .. Here is a picture of the quilt top i finished for him and his wife. I guess i didnt take another picture before i gave it to him ..if i did i will have to find the completed one.

Graduation Quilt Completed

It's done.. it turned out really pretty and she was very happy with it.Thank goodness thats over!
I really cried a million and one tears with this one..i think it was one of the hardest things i have ever done. Tears of joys, tears of anger, tears of sadness all in one.

Maybe just maybe one day she will realize how much its worth.

Graduation

We are very proud of our children.

Graduation came and went.. we now have three graduated daughters.

Our three daughters left home the beginning of this school year.. its been a hard year.. they all thought they needed to be out on their own and live without our rules.. think they found out there are rules everywhere. Their decisions aren't the best but they are what they have to live the rest of their lives with .. im just glad to say they "MADE IT"

Rewarding Day

Today has been a very rewarding day.. I made an all about me quilt pattern to use on our groups as a quilt about yourself for you to be able to pass down to your family. What a treasure it will be through the years to leave as a legacy when your gone. I finished my quilt top today and am so happy to have it done. I also completed one of the panel tops for Quilts for Kids .. it turned out really cute. I'm now working steadily on a wallhanging for my 11 year olds teacher for the end of school.
