Why do we start so many things that we just can't finish?

I have been working so hard to get so many things done .. I keep a list of things to do and seem i never get to many of them marked off . Stress maybe ? I dunno .. Currently I am working on getting a Prayer Quilt to my sisters Business partner and great friend who has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer .. I guess when you think about all these things that affect your family so dear and so close it has its toll on you too .. I've got my husbands quilt half finished .. my moms needs to be quilted .. still yet to start my brother in laws for christmas and gotta quilt my nephews for christmas, plus the many swaps we do on our groups .. Some days i think i must be outta my mind. Who knows maybe the lil quilting i get done keeps me some what sane. I cant say. I've helped my daughter paint her apartment, shes finally come to ask me for help but then she throws out there that her bfs mom is being left out .. so the chaos is back?
Hopefully before christmas i will get outta this slump and get what needs to be done done and find out why !

Nephews Birthday Quilt- ok so its a Christmas Quilt

Then there were Dragons! Here is my nephews Quilt for his 18th Birthday! Hope he enjoys.. it was fun to make! Gotta love the flames! Well .. never finished the quilt by birthday time ..so now its a christmas quilt..dont ya just hate that .. i never find enough time in a day. Life seems to fly by any more ..where does it go.. i just havent a clue .. my job is hectic, my home life is hectic and wow .. i find im just exhausted .. go figure!

Recently My hairdresser's son ..well i guess i'd call her more like a friend since i've known her forever.. got married .. Here is a picture of the quilt top i finished for him and his wife. I guess i didnt take another picture before i gave it to him ..if i did i will have to find the completed one.

Graduation Quilt Completed

It's done.. it turned out really pretty and she was very happy with it.Thank goodness thats over!
I really cried a million and one tears with this one..i think it was one of the hardest things i have ever done. Tears of joys, tears of anger, tears of sadness all in one.

Maybe just maybe one day she will realize how much its worth.

Graduation

We are very proud of our children.

Graduation came and went.. we now have three graduated daughters.

Our three daughters left home the beginning of this school year.. its been a hard year.. they all thought they needed to be out on their own and live without our rules.. think they found out there are rules everywhere. Their decisions aren't the best but they are what they have to live the rest of their lives with .. im just glad to say they "MADE IT"

Rewarding Day

Today has been a very rewarding day.. I made an all about me quilt pattern to use on our groups as a quilt about yourself for you to be able to pass down to your family. What a treasure it will be through the years to leave as a legacy when your gone. I finished my quilt top today and am so happy to have it done. I also completed one of the panel tops for Quilts for Kids .. it turned out really cute. I'm now working steadily on a wallhanging for my 11 year olds teacher for the end of school.

Daughters Graduation Quilt

Well here is the latest I've been working on .. picture isn't the best but the top turned out beautiful. Will get it quilted when i drag out the frame. Getting a few more tops ready to quilt all at one time.
She will graduate May 30th.. its amazing how time flies.

Daughters Birthday Party
